Roopa Dudley is an Epicurean chess artist. Her paintings are created in saturated colors involving chess and have a story to tell. She uses them as a satire and means to communicate with her viewers asking them questions or delighting them with answers they seek. Her paintings have graced many magazines including Professional Artist and ArtAscent as well as art and literature journals like The Painter’s Tongue, Gravel and Vernon Ash. She is also the author of A Strategic Painter: Mastermind your craft — a book written as a guide to succeed as a professional artist for aspiring painters.
