Based out of Seattle, Joseph Steininger has been working on trying to bridge the gap between fine art and street art by creating intricately detailed, multi-layered, hand-cut stencils that he then spray paints. In doing this he is trying to expand people’s idea of what can be used to make fine art regardless of material or where the artwork is displayed.
