Sue Moritt’s paintings come from photos she took at different moments in her life. Most of her paintings include someone or something living, since life is important to her. Twelve years ago Moritt received a new heart when she had only a few days to live; it is her joy to honor her donor by honoring life itself. Moritt taught art in a private school and raised three children until she became too ill to work. After her transplant she concentrated on painting, poetry writing and playing classical piano.
