“The human form is the most basic and yet the most expressive of subjects. Through my work I am exploring the classical figure in a modern light.” Shane Scribner was born in Tulsa in 1980. He excelled in art as a child and began his career in the arts immediately after graduating high school. He attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, graduating in 2004. Shane and his wife Sara met while studying at the Academy of Art University. Together they have exhibited widely across their home state and in galleries and juried competitions nationwide.
