Orit (www.oritreuben.com) was born in Israel to a family of artists. Her grandfather was a landscape impressionist painter who influenced her greatly. She immigrated to the United States in her teens and studied art both in Israel and the States. Orit is currently an instructor at the Crealdé School of Art in Florida, where she teaches and creates figurative paintings. Her favorite medium is pastel. She incorporates strong color in her figurative paintings and aims to capture feeling and mood in. She also produces plein air pastel paintings around Orlando and Winter Park, interpreting her surrounding environment through her unique hand.
