Micheline “Mickey” Ronningen received most of her formal training at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, graduating with a BFA in 1974. She continues to explore visual media, exploring color in multiple forms. Mickey was honored to receive a Professional Development grant from the Regional Arts and Culture Council (2013), enabling the services of coach Gigi Rosenberg. Mickey continues to use that learning in her crusade to bring her art to the public. Mickey actively supports the arts community through volunteer efforts, guild membership, and as a Cultural Arts Council conference participant. Visit artmsr.com.
