Though Jessica Hansen has been drawing and painting all her life, she only recently realized her dream of wanting to paint full time. Hansen’s grandfather fostered a love for art and history in her, but she did not fully realize these passions until college. It was then that she had an epiphany and realized she needs to have both fields in her life. Hansen feels she can explore both through art by incorporating historical landmarks and symbols into her pieces, along with everything else she is inspired by, such as travel, nature and relationships.
