Thieme (www.jmthiemefinearts.com) grew up in suburbia Stamford, Conn. but longed for the rural life of farms, forests and especially horses. She now lives her dream painting from her rural studio/gallery Pipe Dream Studio on a farm in Swanzey, N.H. as her horses graze outside her window. After soul searching and years of painting she has channeled her energy into watermedia where she constantly marvels at the ability of water and paint to move on their own ~ brushes not always needed. “Trust the Water” ~ is a mantra often repeated by Thieme as she paints her dreams.
