Brianna Angelakis

Brianna Angelakis was born in Massachusetts. She moved to New Hampshire during her early teen years and moved to Florida in her late teen years. In 2013, she graduated summa cum laude from Flagler College, located in St. Augustine, FL, with a B.F.A. in Fine Arts, a B.A. in English, and a minor in Illustration. In 2017, she graduated from the University of Florida, located in Gainesville, FL, with her M.F.A. in Art with a focus in Drawing and Painting. Angelakis’ artworks have exhibited internationally including cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Frankfurt, Germany. She has exhibited in various museums including the Harn Museum of Art and the Cummer Museum of Arts & Gardens. Angelakis’ artworks have been published both digitally and in print including publications: Hi-Fructose, Manifest International Drawing Annual, Manifest International Painting Annual and PoetsArtists Magazine. Angelakis currently works in Cincinnati, as an Artist-in-Residence at Manifest Gallery. Her residency started in July 2017 and ends in June 2018.
