Fine Art Instructor

Seeking Fine Art Instructors to stay as an Artist in Residence for a week or weekend stay and teach Fine Art Workshops.

Qualifications

BFA required. MFA preferred. Experience teaching, able to demonstrate processes thoroughly.

Artists with educated knowledge in any of the following areas: Art Education, Printmaking, Fine Art, Painting, Drawing, Photography, Screenprinting, Sculpture, etc.

At RCP you get a trade for hours during training, marketing and on-the-road time for future use of our studio and equipment. You will have opportunities to take other workshops at our studio as assistants or in trade. You will gain access to trainings on teaching, marketing, social media, and non-profit background business if you live in the Akron area. If you are from out of town as a visiting instructor you will have access to the space as an artist in residence during your stay!
