Paperworks 2016 is a national juried competition featuring works made of, on or about paper: cut paper, folded paper, woven paper, glued paper, drawings, paintings, pastels, prints, photographs, sculpture, bound books, collage, mixed media, video, and installation. Juror: Heidi Hirschl, Curatorial Assistant, Museum of Modern Art, NY. Up to 6 works of each winning artist in a one month show at the gallery in August 2016. Exhibition Dates: August 2-28, 2016. One of the first and most comprehensive arts in healthcare programs nationwide, Gifts of Art brings the world of art to the UM Health System. Our nine galleries include 2-D and 3-D spaces that are viewed by approximately 10,000 people a day, and are some of the most widely visited non-museum exhibit spaces in the state.
